The following comment was e-mailed to the Commander Curt Ebitz by a new member after attending his first Aaron A. Weaver Chapter 776 bimonthly meeting.
"First, I want to tell you my feelings at my first meeting with the members of Chapter 776
of the Military Order of the Purple Heart. As the other members introduced themselves and I learned of their service and sacrifice during World War II and Korea, I felt so humble and a great sense of honor came over me to just be in the same room with these men. I can't put into words how deep these feelings went. Let's just say, I have never felt such honor and at the same time felt my experiences in combat pale compared to what these men went through."
